Research grant proposals

Obtaining external sponsorship for your research is a high priority at many institutions. You probably know which funding agencies are most appropriate for your work, but it can be a challenge to pare down your abundant good ideas into a targeted proposal that is feasible for the time and money available, addresses the funder’s priorities, and communicates your plans clearly. In addition, many funders want an assessment component to the project.

I have obtained funding for my own projects in education and science; I have served as a proposal reviewer for NSF; and I have helped colleagues polish their proposals to obtain funding. I will take the time to understand your priorities and the requirements of your campus’ research office and the funding organization to help you produce a proposal that stands out to reviewers. My professional assessment experience will come into play as we work together to develop a credible and feasible assessment plan for your project.
